Grand Opening/ Matt Hughes Seminar
Our Grand Opening Event which includes a seminar with 9-time UFC Welterweight Champion Matt Hughes has been officially scheduled for Saturday, August 8, 2009. The cost of the seminar is $40 for H.I.T. Center MMA members and $100 for non-members. Also, as a special bonus to our new members, the seminar is free with a paid one-year membership. Don't miss out on this great opportunity to train with one of the greatest mixed martial artists of all-time! The seminar will be from 10:00am-1:00pm. It will be followed by a meet and greet/autograph session from 1:00pm-2:00pm.
Congratulations to Derek Griffin
The H.I.T. Center MMA staff would like to congratulate Derek Griffin on his 1st round KO victory last night over a very tough Bruce Johnson at Cage Conflict Championships. Derek is the first MMA fighter to officially fight for our club and he won in very impressive fashion. Derek worked extremely hard with our trainers for this fight and we are very proud of his performance. Look for big things from Derek in the future. Hey everyone,
I wanted to thank all of you for stopping by our webpage and checking us out. We are overly anxious to get the doors open on the new training center and extremely excited for all of you to see it. We're still cleaning, painting, setting up equipment, laying mats and hanging bags but we're advancing much quicker than anticipated.

Updates
I wanted to give everyone an update on our progress as we await the opening of our new gym. Everything is moving along great with the facility and we will be ready to go in July as planned! Our custom Dollamur mats are ordered, our new Century gear is on the way, and the walls are freshly painted. We will be ready for classes to begin on Monday July 6, 2009. The full schedule for July is now posted. Also coming soon will be details for our big grand-opening event planned for August 8, 2009. This event will include a seminar with 9-time UFC Welterweight Champion Matt Hughes!
